In this retreat, Heather, a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor and yoga and meditation teacher, guides you through the 3 pillars of the WHM: Breathing Technique, Cold Exposure & Commitment. Find out how you can utilise oxygen and cold exposure to optimise body & mind, and learn about the underlying physiology.

You will enjoy a jam-packed retreat with lots to learn and experience, fresh vegetarian meals and a lovely cottage set in gorgeous countryside. The cottage is a short walk from the beach, and there are plenty of natural freshwater pools to train in! Mungasdale cottage is on Gruinard Estate, a stunning place with so many places to adventure in! Lachie Gordon Athié will be your hiking guide- he knows the hills like the back of his hand, having been brought up at Gruinard, so you'll get a local with all the history and knowledge you could ever want!

You'll receive three nights accommodation, breathing sessions, multiple opportunities for natural cold water bathing, walking, talks delving into the scientific studies on the method, delicious vegetarian meals and a renewed love for nature in the winter! With an introductory price of €490 until November 1st 2020!

The weekend begins on Thursday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. There is ample time for reflection, and Heather is there to answer questions throughout the weekend. All rooms are twin, and all meals are vegetarian.

Please bring hiking boots, waterproofs, swimming costumes, water bottle, comfortable clothing for the weekend and a notebook and pen.

Transport from Inverness to Mungasdale is provided ( for an additional €50 return) from Inverness airport. It leaves at 4pm sharp on Thursday 7th, returning 6.30pm Sun 10th from Mungasdale (arriving at Inverness airport at 8pm).

There are many ways to get to Inverness! If you are travelling from London, we always recommend the sleeper train as the best option if you book far enough in advance. It's a lovely way to travel and much more environmentally friendly!

Otherwise there are two easyjet flights on the 7th that will get you on time to use our transport at 4:00 pm- one from Luton arriving at 12.15 and another from gatwick arriving at 15:15. There is also a British airways flight from Heathrow arriving at 15:55. For your return we are aiming for the 21:10 flight back to Luton. Let us know your travel plans before booking so we can confirm everyone's schedules and let you know of any last minute changes!
