How Does it work?
Welcome!
A little about me. I am a certified Level 2 Wim Hof Method Instructor who trains new instructors at the Wim Hof Method Academy. I also am a Somatic Yoga Teacher, Mental Resilience Trainer, Oxygen Advantage Breathwork practitioner, and nuritional health coach. I have been working with the method for ten years, and it has totally changed my life! I run teacher training for new instructors, and run large scale retreats and small intimate events alike. I also work with individuals on their Wim Hof Method practise.
Why coaching?
In the many years I have been doing work in wellbeing, I always get questions specific to the Wim Hof Method that sound the same, whether the person is brand new,, very experienced, or even training to be a new instructor in the method...
...How often should I.....* insert breathe/ ice bathe/cold immersion/ meditate*?! How long for? At what temperature? How long should my breath retentions to be?
And the answer is always the same... IT DEPENDS! It depends on you, your goals, your current health, what you want to work on, and where you want to be. I would never recommend the same protocol for a young male athlete as I would an elder woman with an autoimmune disease, or a person managing addiction!
And really, the only way to get to the right protocol for you is to get started, listen to feedback and find out what works. This is so much easier with the guiding hand of a person who has coached thousands of people before, and can interpret feedback help you get the results you are looking for. The Wim Hof Method, Breathwork, Mindfulness and Meditation, and nutrition can be incredible complementary therapies, and I can guide you to work out what works best, whilst also teaching you the safest way to implement.
We can't all climb Everest in our shorts like Wim Hof, not should we aim for that! But we CAN achieve optimal results with our health and wellbeing by using these practices within the existing rhythms and rituals of our lives. We can make it work for our own needs, within our own parameters.
How does it work?
When you work with me you sign up to a five session block. You can take it in five weeks (once a week), in ten weeks (once every two weeks) or another pace that suits, within one year. We cover theoretical and practical elements, I walk you through each element piece by piece and I recommend the correct home setup for your needs. We take on the feedback your body is giving you and adjust accordingly. We work together on creating an at-home plan and we decide your weekly focus. You also receive whatsapp support in between sessions. A five- pack plan is 250 pounds.
When your five session pack is complete, you may restart a new 5 session pack, and we can explore a specific methodology more deeply, or explore other modalities together. I have worked with people for a five week block only, or I have clients who are still with me three years down the line, exploring an array of practices! I am here to hold your hand while we explore what works best for you, and support you to maintain healthy habits.
