Heather is a holistic breathwork practitioner. She is unique in having a wide range of training in breathwork practices, several years teaching experience to share and personal experience in using breathwork for a wide range of applications. Her dedicated holistic breathwork courses can help you overcome symptoms of asthma, improve functional breathing, improve athletic performance, improve your sleep, prevent chronic stress and help you find your voice! Breathing is amazing.  The average person breathes 20, 000 times a day, with the equivalent of six litres of air every minute and exhaling up to 420 millilitres  of water per day! In fact, 70% of our bodily waste is eliminated through our lungs just by breathing!  It's a major mechanism in our bodies- so it's time to learn to harness its power. 

This 6- Module course offers you an in-depth understanding on  the science and practise of conscious breathing.   Whether you are curious for your own practise or whether you wish to incorporate conscious breathing into your teaching, this course has something for everyone. 

Our six module process:

Every session weaves together science, theory, and practice, and you’ll also receive a take-home practice to explore and share your feedback with us

★Module 1: Introduction to Breathing

  • The breathwork spectrum

  • Introduction to Biomechanics, Chemistry and Mental aspects of breathing

  • Practise and breathing awareness 

  • Take- home practise to explore before next class

★Module  2: Mental Resilience

  • Science behind breathwork for mental resilience

  • Practise breathwork to calm and soothe

  • Take- home practise to explore before next class

★Module 3: Pranayama and Yogic Philosophy

  • Science behind the scriptures

  • Practise Pranayama

  • Take- home practise to explore before next class

★Module 4: Functional Breathwork for Disordered Breathing (such as Asthma, sleep apnoea, allergic rhinitis)

  • Science behind disordered breathing and symptom reduction

  • Theory regarding functional breathwork

  • Practise breathing protocols for disordered breathing

  • Take- home practise to explore before next class

★Module 5: Addressing Inflammation

  • Science behind breathwork for inflammation

  • Theory regarding breathwork for inflammation

  • Take- home practise to explore before next class

★Module 6: Improving Athletic Performance 

  • Science behind breathwork for athletic performance

  • Theory regarding breathwork for athletic performance

  • Practise breathwork protocols for athletic performance

  • Take- home practise to explore before next class

★Optional Extra: Exploring Intensity  (the optional seventh module!)

  • Practise more intense breathwork practise 

  • Integration Feedback and close

How this course works:

We ask that participants make themselves available for at least 4 of the 6 live modules. Recordings available for a limited time after the course ends.

Our pricing structure:

Our pricing is tiered so you can choose the rate that works best for you. The lowest tier is open to all East African citizens as part of our commitment to making our programmes widely accessible in the region. Spaces are limited to 25 participants .   • Standard: £70/ 12,000 KES

  • Abundant: £105/ 18,000 KES

You can contribute partially or completely, and there is no cap to the amount of bursary seats you can purchase. There is of course, also no pressure to participate either!

Future Experiences
We know that some of you have a preference for an in -person gathering. For those for whom an online course is not the right fit, we are also planning a retreat/ workshop experience in April/May.  There will likely be other offerings in the mix as well. About Rebekah: Rebekah is a yoga instructor and Thai yoga masseuse with a Master's degree in chemical engineering. She aims to understand things deeply, both yogic and scientific, and to share this knowledge in her sessions. She has spent nine months in India studying the ancient yoga tradition and has sat 98 days, collectively, in silent Buddhist meditation retreats.  Rebekah has been teaching yoga for 13 years and keeps her chemistry alive in her kitchen formulating Ayurvedic concoctions.
